My professional dance partner called me today and told me her little one is half baked as of today.  This will be the third child in 4 years.  Yes, it is getting harder and harder to pick her ass up.  We don't perform tricks where I have to lift her over my head or anything........ like that would happen, have you seen me?......... she is a little shorter than me and I'm just at 6'0". 

The problem is we have our last performance May 5th-8th in D.C. and we do have some tricks where I have to completly support her where she  has only a toe dragging the floor.  She told me she will only gain between 1 and 2 pounds a week until the baby is born.  So I was doing the math, May 5th is 6 weeks and a few days away so that is potentially 12 + or - a few pounds.  That doesn't sound like much but when you have to support, then stand it up, and make it all  look graceful.......I don't think so.

I have to say she has done great with her weight this time.  With the first two she gained  between 50 and 60 pounds, they are only 6 weeks apart.  This baby is due in August so I guess I'll have to see what the rest of the competitive year holds for me.  I just hope she figures out what is causing this and puts a stop to it so we can dance next year :)
