I don't seem to be using it right now!

I felt dumb...like the TV was sucking the smarts out of me.  The other evening, after Project Runway at P&B's house, we dared to watch "Make Me A Supermodel."  It was like a traffic accident...I couldn't look away.  It was so compelling, in a "I can't believe people are this DIM," that I decided to Tivo another episode or two to watch as my "mindless stuff to watch as I doze off" TV.

I wish I had the problems these people had:
    • One looks too All American and will probably never be editorial enough for the runway
    • Being upset because he can't seem to get his walk back.  "I don't know why I lost my walk."
    • Damn this straight guy who's married is the man of my dreams and I am in love with him (Oh wait...I have had this problem...more than once )
    • OMG She's eating bread right after working out.

This is Frankie...Frankie is HOT!  Not really my type but HOT!  Frankie should not be allowed to speak...EVER.  Every time he opens his mouth, I swear there should be a big thought balloon above his head, you know, like the comics, with "DUH!!" in big bold letters.  He laughs a lot out of context and is prone to bursts of epileptic-like dances...

This is Ben and Ronnie...Ronnie (left) (right) is the only gay one in the show (How the F did that happen?).  Ronnie has a huge crush on Ben (who's a prison guard from TN and married).  While nothing has happened...<cough> Bull$hit...the producers are playing this up but good (OMG...does Ronnie have a hard-on in that pic?).  They hold hands and hug and lean on each other a lot...

<PJ looks at picture of Rosie O'Donnell to calm down>

If you're looking for eye candy AND you can stand feeling dirty and dumb for watching this show...I say go for it.  It's two steps away from soft-core porn...so enjoy it for what it's worth!!

    Bitch...I have a blog...

...and I am NOT afraid to say your name in it!  I have had the hardest time finding shelf brackets for my kitchen cabinets.  The pegs of standard ones are too long.  I've looked at Home Depot and Lowes and all the local stores in the area with no luck.  So I decided to search the internet and found a local cabinet dealer; someone who does custom kitchens and bathrooms, near by Newburgh, NY:  Kitchen Tune-Up.  So I sent an email, asking if they had brackets or knew of where I could look.

To my surprise this morning (less than 24 hours later) I got a call.  I was excited...and then the conversation started.  Here is how that conversation went.  (He was obviously angry that he had to call me - it was obvious in his very short, biting tone).
Kitchen Tune-Up's Evil Representative:   Is that all you need, the brackets, nothing else.
    PJ:   Yes
Kitchen Tune-Up's Evil Representative:  Then I can't help you with that.

No suggestions, no apologies, nothing.  The implication being that he couldn't be bothered to waste his time with me if that was all I wanted.  Had I wanted a renovated kitchen, then he would have been more than happy to entertain me.  The funny part...and I may send an email sharing this with them...I DO need my bathroom and eventually my kitchen renovated.  The bathroom will most likely happen in 2008...the kitchen in 2009.

You can tell a lot about a company/service by how they deal with you in small matters...and they told me that they are not the kind of company that will be getting any of my business when I do need their services.  In customer service, a small customer today, could be your largest account tomorrow.

    And then...

OK...It's Fri. and I have a couple things more to do for today.  Time to work, then hit the gym at 4pm.  We're heading out for Nickers birthday tonight...should be fun.   Have a wonderful weekend!

    Laterz...

Yes that 'straight' man has wood in that pic. This sounds like a show that's just bound to come to Dutch television soon!

um...correction. the gay boy is on the right and yes it is like watching a traffic accident. i think they're so cute together and how they flirt makes me moist like a snack cake down there.

my favorite line was when the prison guard was describing how it feels ot be the object of the gay boys affection.  'well I guess it's a compliment. i mean gays are picky aren't they?'

    such a philosopher that one.

    Hell yes we're picky!

I saw part of that show at Cristie's house, and while I felt slightly dirty for watching such, I'll freely admit I'd take those boys for the ride of their lives.

I'll admit sometimes I get short with people on the phone, but that occurs when they ask me something extremely stupid that requires only common sense, not medical sense.

I don't watch tv enough to know this type of programming, but it sounds like an enjoyable evening with friends :) fun!
