I haven't read this book in awhile. Stupid White Men. It pisses me off, and makes me think, and occasionally makes me laugh. I need books like that sometimes.
In about two hours, I'm gone. I ended up getting a very cute stuffed crab for Thomas's sister and a baseball cap for his brother. (I'm not sure whether or not they have baseball caps over there.) I also made carmelized pecans. I think I'm set. I just need to pack my toothbrush, some books, and the stuffed elephant with which I still sleep because I'm pathetic like that.
I'll be back on July 11th, but I will be very jetlagged. Posts will probably resume on the 12th, with photos throughout. Thomas arrives in the US on the 13th, and then fun times ensue! I can't wait to meet him. I'm terrified that his family won't like me. Too late to worry about that--I'm outta here.
