| | Mmm, honey-roasted peanuts. Best kind. Only kind I like, really.
Okay, so. My day, done in positives and negatives: + Greg is gorgeous, and so is his hair. (Did I mention that the seating chart changed so that he sits in front of me now? Yes! So now, I get to stare at the back of his head for fifty minutes every day...) + I told Mr. Wright that I plan on taking both the English literature and the English language AP exams, and he just said, "All right." Meaning he didn't say anything like, "You have no business taking them both! You can barely handle this class!" So that's good. - Some sophomore stole my enlarger in the darkroom today. So I just didn't even bother working in the darkroom, because that enlarger is the only one I can use. Call me weird, I just refuse to use any of the others. - According to the results of two different tests we took in psych, I am extremely unhappy with my life but I don't want it to change. Hmm. + I got 100% on that quiz on relative pronouns. Go me for kicking butt at French grammar. + I managed to put up the new stuff for the bulletin board all by me onesy! - It looks like crap. Danielle (Rachel) concurs. + Greg is wonderful, even if it's awkward to hug him because he's so tall and I'm so short. + I called Hofstra University about my SAT scores. The guy on the phone told me that they got them, and that my application was reviewed today. Cool. + I know exactly which eight works I'm going to put in my portfolio for the UMBC Visual Arts Department to review on March 31st. + I went to the library and found the perfect book for the psych project I'm doing with Kara on sex as a human motivation: it's called Why Is Sex Fun? Doesn't that just rock? Even better, it's by the author of Guns, Germs and Steel. Coolness. - The library does not carry a single book devoted to trichotillomania, the topic I plan to cover in my second semester readings for psych. (I did check out an excellent book on obsessive compulsive disorders, including trich, but I need to read an entire book about it.) + Cocoa. - Precalc homework. + Back to the honey-roasted peanuts.
All in a day's work, I guess. - |
