And I'm EIGHTEEN today! Whoo!
Okay, so. I didn't take many pictures in Myrtle Beach, for some reason, but here are the ones I've got.
People on the beach.
The Caravelle Resort, where we stayed.
They had a lazy river, but it was rather small. This is part of it, with the pool in the background. There were also two wading pools and two hot tubs, as well as an outdoor hot tub and an indoor hot tub and pool on the seventh floor.

If there's one thing I'm not going to miss about Myrtle Beach, it's that it's in a red state.
Scary.
There were about two or three Christian shops at Broadway At The Beach (a large collection of shops and restaurants and stuff, as well as minigolf), along with this one poster shop that had cardboard standees, and one of them was of Bush. And Emily made a joke about it--"We should, like, steal it and draw a little mustache on it!"--and the guy behind the counter gave her a dirty look.
Anyway.
So here's Molly and Kelly with their lovely $6.00 parasols that they bought at The General Store.
And I must confess, I've saved the best for last.
This, friends, is the best restaurant IN THE WORLD. Ever at all. The best. In the world.
Señor Frog's!
What is Señor Frog's, you ask? Here you go:

This is their placemat, which rocked:
There were blacklights on the ceiling, and signs on all the walls, and froggy footprints on the floor. There were more signs on the ceiling, too. Some sample phrases:
"I'm not fat, I'm just fluffy."
"BEER is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
"Warning! This sign is falling!" (this was at an angle on the wall)
"We're all in this ALONE."
"Sex is like golf. You don't have to be good at it to enjoy it!"
Ah, fun times.
The waiters all wore aprons that said, "I don't use this, but it makes me look official." One waiter had a shirt on that said on the back, "I don't speak English, but I promise not to make fun of your Spanish."
And the first time we went there (yes, we went twice), which was at night, the waiters all got up onstage and did this crazy dance. It was funny. There were these little girls in the crowd imitating them. Fun times. Our server was REALLY nice (when we asked for a pitcher of Coke, she said, "Um...I'll see if I can dig one up," and then she actually found one!) and the food was amazing. Really good guacamole, excellent quesadillas. When Kelly, Hannah, Molly and I went there two days later for lunch, we got dessert nachos after, and they were really good. Chips covered in cinnamon and brown sugar, with ice cream on top, "shot with strawberry and chocolate syrup squirt guns. As fun to make as it is to eat." Good times.
The downside: I went to their website, and the only restaurant they have in the U.S. is in Myrtle Beach. The rest are in Central America and Mexico.
The upside! We'll be stopping at one of those towns in Mexico on our Carribean cruise in June. Hopefully we can actually find Señor Frog's and eat there.
Best restaurant. Ever. Ever at all.
