| | Dear Sarah Kiki,
I love you, princess! I can't believe my "little" (almost 5 feet now) sister is a teenager now... Not that not being an "official teenager" yet kept you from participating in all the same activities as we did this year.
It's been so wonderful watching you grow up in stature and in maturity over the last year, but most importantly in your walk with God! Learning to trust wholly in God is much more important than qualifying for Nationals. Keep pressing onward and upward in Him... I challenge you to be different. Don't be a typical 'teenager' (they don't really exist, remember). We don't have to be rebellious and stubborn just because all the rest of our culture says that's what teens should do. We should have an attitude, but that's to reject the norm, not embrace it. You can do it, sis!
I'm so glad you think your brothers are cool, because I think I've got the coolest sister in the world. I'm very proud of you now, and of what I know you're going to be; a beautiful but modest, talented yet humble, friendly but prudent, godly young woman. I always enjoy our walks and talks and I look forward to many more in the future. Hugs and kisses!
Your Big Brother,
Alex |
