• the new Chief Air Minister of Ballooning

  You come to AliasUndercover® for enlightenment.  Today I shall valiantly shine the Bright Flashlight of Light on the most recent perplexity that faces our great nation  Why is Sabrina Sloan not in the top 12? Why is Haley Something in?  

  I don't believe (really) that the show is rigged (here is a better discussion on rigged). I believe its all about separation. In my mind, Sabrina was 4th - it goes Melinda, LaKisha, Stephanie, Sabrina, Blake/Chris (a tie), Jordin, all others. Her secure 4th place is the reason she's not in! See, if you like the high quality, powerful R&B diva voice (and who doesn't?), you've got 3 others that are better. Since this is a diverse country that still, occasionally, likes to rock - Gina is the only one to get the rocker vote. She'll be in for awhile if she keeps rocking. well if the rockers will put down their non-non-alcoholic beers and marijuana cigarettes long enough to vote, she will. If your not all rockoutdude and inexplicably anti-HQPR&BDVoice, who else you gonna vote for, but Haley? Also, she doesn't smart off when Simon slams her. She tears up a little, comes back next week, and tries her best. **said with quivering lip** She's got the heart of a champion!!
  So, there you go, if Sabrina had somehow separated herself from the better big voices, she'd still be in.

  Part of me wishes they'd just stop the competition and declare Melinda Doolittle the New New All New American Idol, Poet Laureate, President of the United States, and all around Best Good Wonderful Person, on the other hand, like Paula said Wednesday, I just can't wait, each week, to see what she's going to do next.
