Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds...

HEY!

So. Here I am.  Went to church. I've increased my funding by $45 since I have come up here.  Well now. What should I blog about? The possibilites are nearly endless.  I think this one will be Nate's Blog: Pets Editon.

I once had a turtle. Or rather, I caught a turtle. Herbie. I don't think I named him after the car though. Anyways. I think he was a box turtle. He had a cinderblock pen outside. He escaped one day when I was at a birthday party. I never figured out how he got away.

I'm listening to this song over and over. It's by Gary Glitter.  Rock N Roll Part 2, I think. HEY!

What else have I had. Let me see.  Oh yeah. My mom once starved a gold fish.  I won it at a fair. We brought it home. It was in this tiny bag.  I wanted to give it bread, but mom said it was going to die soon so what was the point. It survived for a week.  I've almost gotten over the trauma.

Also, we've had ducks. The first one, Ferdinard, was yellow. We got him in Tennessee.  Right before we moved to Alabama. He died of heatstroke.  We left him outside in a cage in direct sunlight one day. It fried his brains.  He was the best duckling.

We got two more baby ducks after that.  Mandy got a yellow and named it Winifred. I got a darker one and named in Petrie. Oh man, the Land Before Time came out in 1988?! Whoa. I had to look up how to spell Petrie.  Anyways, I thought mine was a boy and Mandy thought hers was a girl, but we were both wrong.  We gave them away to be slaughtered. Actually, I don't remember who we gave them too.

Cinnamon.  She was a dachshund. My family got her when they lived in Texas, before I was born.  Ok, many dachsunds won't shut up, right? Cinnamon never barked. She was not a normal dachsund.  She died on Nov 3, 1998.  At age 14.  She liked food. Once, her belly was even dragging on the ground.  Anyways.

Eh, ok, you sorta know about Zoey already. So. The End.

HEY!

I don't know about Zoey, but judging from your track record I don't think I want to. Let me guess, did she die of nuclear radiation right after it made her hair fall out and her skin turn green?

Good idea--a smiley face would look quite fetching on a dog muzzle.  Removing a dog's vocal chords....I've heard about that.  It seems a bit extreme, if you ask me.  I feel sorry for the dog-who-nate-with-the-mysterious-middle-name-thinks-might-be-a-collie.

I used to have an albino gerbil named Christopher Columbus. It was running around one day and my brother smushed it. I haven't fully recovered from the trauma.....
