Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds...

Paper Tigers and Bits of String

I got shampoo in my eye last night. I just popped open the bottle and a bit flew out into my left eye. Anyways.

A Walk to Remember may have scarred me for life. It disturbed me more than The Godfather movies. That's not something I'm especially proud of, but... the movie was just so unnatural. So disturbing. So unrealistic. Totally cliche characters. Mandy Moore's acting was creepy. I don't know how to rate the movie.  I'm not exactly the movie's target audience. It was very sappy and such, but I think that was its intent. I suppose it would be uplifting to some. Eh. My sister was shocked by how unrealistic this movie is.

Raising Helen: Kate Hudson is very funny. But she needs to fire her agent. Her selection of movies is terrible. C+. The first hour brought some laughs, but the second hour was kind of focused on family relationship drama, and therefore less entertaining.  Also, Joan Cusack (one of my favorite actresses) was quite funny in a more serious role than normal.

And now for ... THE CORE.  Horrible CGI effects. Seriously cheesy dialogue. Acting was pretty over-the-top. Plot and science behind it was totally ludicrous. I loved it. I rate it a B-. This goes firmly into the category of guilty pleasure for me. It's very bad. But highly entertaining in its campiness.  It's a great 'B' movie.

You know what is funny? We almost always get the same results on the quiz/things... Today's quiz was no exception.

Ah, okay.  I don't like the term 'fanny pack.'  It's retared.  My family calls it a buckle bag. 0.o  Not sure where that one came from...

I didn't like A Walk to Remember, because Mandy Moore was so incredibly perfect in it.  It bothered me.  However... I did like it to a point, because.  Well.  The fact that most people are like Shane West in highschool... like they do the stuff he does.  And it just said it was possible to change. ;)  in a way.

Oh.  I've watched Raising Helen several times...

Haven't watched the last one.

I'm INTJ.  I think my results are wrong.
