  • Spring!!! Finally!!!

Haven't felt like blogging in a while.  I was sick for 2 weeks and and finally just down to coughing some.  I hope that it will quit soon.  Today feels like a beautiful spring day even though we got snow on Sunday night.  Petty much all the snow has melted around the house except for a few spots that don't get much sun.

Our lives have been on hold for the past 6 weeks or so waiting to see if we were being transferred.  I  don't mind moving and all the things that go along with it except I didn't really want to move where they were thinking about transferring us.  But, if my DH thought we should go, I would pack and smile.  All this time though, I had been unable to find us a place to live.  Affordable housing was at least a 30 miles drive from where his office would be.  With the cost of gas, this wasn't great.  Closer housing was VERY expensive.  Not even affordable for this family.  Well, Thursday they called and said they were going to interview some more people.  So, I think we are staying put.  I have quite a few projects that we had put on hold until we knew what were going to be doing.

Project #1 - Get the clothes line put in.  I found a decent one at Lowe's for about $44 plus we would need a bag of concrete.

Project #2 - Stake out the garden and see what we need to do.  Have already started the seeds.  Some are doing really well.  Some must need it to be warmer.  Even though they are kept inside at night it is still cool outside.  It still freezes here at night.

Project #3 - Plant our raspberry bush.

Project #4 - Clean out the garage.  AGain!!!  Organize it!!!  It is finally getting warm enough to stay out there without freezing.

Project #5 - Clean our pantry and reorganize.  We have about 4 apple trees and I would really like to put up some applesauce and pie filling this year.  But, need to be organized.  Also have a plum tree.  Maybe some jelly!!

It's just nice to feel better and enjoy these beautiful weather...  "Till next time.

Hope you have a great Resurrection Sunday!!
