how time flies when you're having fun!

Wow, have things been crazy busy lately or what.  I know many can relate to that statement.  The Integrated Business Core is progressively taking up more and more of my time as we get closer to selling our product.  There are a lot of ideas floating around about how we are going to make this business work.  From what I've heard so far, it will be a fun and profitable time.  The other day, Josh and I went to the Children's Rescue Center to scope out our service project.  We talked with the leaders for over an hour about the amazing jobs we wanted to accomplish this semester with the two IBC companies.  I am looking forward to working with them on improving their facilities, which will in turn have an impact on those they minister to.
Pastor Boulet spoke in chapel this morning on a, "Discipleship Dilemma: Singleness or Marriage."  In a nutshell , it helped me realize the importance of resting in the situation God has put me in and to be content.  I have not yet been so fortunate to find a girlfriend, but I just need to enjoy life and friends as much as I can and wait on God's timing in regard to that issue.   Thanks for the reality check Pastor Boulet!

I'm back!!

After a long absence, I am finally writing in my xanga again!

Well, my team will be presenting the beanie pillow tomorrow as a product finalist.  It will be interesting to see what product has the most appeal across campus and among the company.  I look forward to what the future holds with the IBC.

What would you choose: a beanie pillow, water-proof blanket,  "Where's Dr. Brown?" calendar (a Cedarville spoof of "Where's Waldo?"), CU towels, or a foldable camping chair?

Have a wonderful night everyone!

Dear Diary,

This is anchormansteve speaking loud and clear.  Wow, what a hectic last few days.  RA training ended on Thursday with an amazing dinner at Olive Garden with the Hill RD and RA's.  It was great!  All of my guys got in on the first day of new student registration.  So far I have had a good time getting to know them.  They seem to be great guys.  Since getting ready for classes to start does not allow many new students a lot of free time, I have not had much time to hang out with them.  I hope to do that in the future though.

Things are going really well.  Classes started today and I actually am glad for it.  The beginning of classes actually brings somewhat of a routine and a stability.  I am excited about them.  They are mainly business courses, which makes since seeing that I am an accounting major.

We are now in the midst of our Fall Bible Conference.  Dr. James MacDonald has been speaking twice a day since yesterday morning.  He is incredible.  I'd encourage anyone to pick up some of his materials.

Anyway, I've gotta head out to dinner.  Have a great evening everyone!

Dear Diary,

This is anchormansteve speaking loud and clear.  Today was another full day of RA training seminars.  We returned from Mohican Adventures Camp near Canton, Ohio this morning and followed this by seminars until 9pm.  I will say, however, that it hasn't been as tiring as counselor training week.  They are both fun though.  There are only two days left, tomorrow being the hardest, but I am looking forward to them.  We are going canoeing on the Little Miami River tomorrow afternoon.  It'll be fun.  Anyway, I'm tired and the pillow is calling my name.  Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Dear Diary,

This is anchormansteve speaking loud and clear after a very long absence.  It's kinda funny that my last update was made before I left Cedarville for the summer and the next update comes after I have returned.  I wasn't very faithful this with xanga this summer was I.

Anyway, I am here now and I am looking forward to what this year has to offer.  I know that I will be busy with school and other extracurricular activities, but I hope, most of all, to grow in my relationship to Christ.  I haven't done a very good job with my relationship lately.  For those who know me I would hope that you will keep me accountable this year.

I hope all is well with everyone and the start of everybody's year starts off on the right foot.  Have a great week. Hasta la vista!
