| What is the best way to approach an awkward and possibly embarrassing question?Head on, but tactfully. Kinda seems contradictory, but with practice, it can be done.

| What is the meanest thing your parents had said to you?Why would you want to answer a question like this? Why would you want to try to remember the meanest thing anyone, especially your parents, has said to you? Assuming that whatever was said is in the past, done and over with, etc., there's two reasonable things you can do about it: 1. Forgive it. Everyone says stuff they don't mean, or stuff they mean but not in the way they said it. It's a mistake and they're as sorry as you are. 2. Forget it. Get over it. Let it go. If you get a cut, you don't keep cutting it open again, do you? No, you let it heal. So what's the meanest thing my parents have ever said to me? I don't know, and I don't care to know because today, it really doesn't matter.

| What do you think is the best cure for stress?Relaxation, a balanced diet, regular exercise, and healthy dose of apathy.

| If you got a terminal disease what would you do?Depends how bad it is. If it means I'll be wheezing and choking to death in some sterile hospice, then I'll just shoot myself in the head. If it means I'll just keel over and die one day, then I'd probably write a will and continue with life as usual.

| After my response to the last featured questions, I feel inclined to make two comments: 1. Yes, I am well aware of the 'controversies' surrounding 'Christ'mas. I am well aware of its Pagan roots. I am well aware that Christ's birth was not on December 25th. I am well aware of the imperialistic nature of Christianity. I don't like it either. The reason I used the example I used was because, no matter where it came from or why, it IS a government sanctioned holiday and it IS widely celebrated as a Christian holiday. 2. It's important that Christianity remain on the 'same playing field' as all other religions, so to speak. That's exactly the issue, though... it seems that some people aren't trying to keep it on the same playing field, they're trying to remove it from the field completely. Doing that completely blows the whole 'religious equality' thing. In any case, there's a ton of different ways to argue the topic, so feel free to hit the comment button and put in your 2¢ (or 8¢ if you do it 4 times). | | |
