lady poets
Keep your lady poets
I've no wish to go that way.
No desire to love a fascist,
Not even for one day
I've no need to be diminutive,
Nor desire to be discrete.
I really don't want a marraige
To man that's quite effete.
...
I suspect this goes on, but I am going to bed now.

I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!
In no particular order
Ben and Jerry's... anything but chunky monkey.
Sex... I don't need to tell you about this.
Chuzzle...little fluff balls blowing up, come on.
Vent via blog...search back. Some doozies in here about my ex husband.
Write poetry... nuff said
Hot showers... aromatherapy and exfoliation
God of War... There is something therapeutic to virtually decapitating a minotaur.
Bob Marley... One Love... repeat until mellow.
The Donna's... They covered Safety Dance... I think it might be better than the original
Flogging Molly... Come on... If you have never heard of this band, google it. Good times.
My Chemical Romance ...very loud on my car stereo. I scream along.
Kid Rock... This ritual involves dancing like a stripper. I might not really be as sexy as hell, but Kid makes me think I am.
The Ramones... punk all started right here. If you can't cop a "to hell with the world" attitude while listening to this, you are a lost cause.

In response to Tristan's poem " A Lady Too Much Desired"
It isn't perfect, the meter is off and the words need some tweaks. But it gets the point across. Read his first, then mine. His is the FAR superior poem
As I walked among the mists
Chanting songs of old
I happened on a gallant knight
His armor shiny gold.
He bothered not to ask my name
Or come down from his steed
He raised his sword as if to pledge
His life to only me.
I went alas, to ask him down
To hold me in his arms
When forward came a darker knight,
Bent on doing harm.
They battled to,
They battled fro,
They battled high
And lo, they wouldn't stop to hear
My protests shouted into the air.
They died there in the silent mist
A tangle of metal, blood and bone
Single body on the mossy ground
And left me all alone.
I’ll weave flowers through my hair
Sing dirges for the knight
I'll snuggle next to empty air
In my bower late at night.
