  • Smiley face.

    [/mastur cheef]

First, the sucky. My throat hurts. I feel like I have a raw stripe running down one side of it. I have to be careful what I eat and do with my throat for awhile.

Oh, and in case you didn't know already, the AI people were looking for crazy-outgoing personalities moreso than singing ability. So no, I didn't make first cut. Oh well.

Now, the good. Giants game Saturday. And who's pitching? That's right. The man who deserves a Cy Young, Tim Lincecum.

And the excellent? John Mayer concert tonight. Booyah!

So that means I need to get to bed. Preferably now. Time to quit listening to anime theme songs (Bleach = <3) and get off the computer.

Speaking of Bleach, I think I have Rukia's hairdo by now, except with bangs. Hmm. I need me an Uryuu to sew a cute dress for me....

  • KDsdkfndfoahegrefjzomgzomgzomg.

    .... I must be insane.

Partly because I'm actually using this thing, and not just to spy on the few I'm subscribed who still blog semi-regularly. But mostly for a different reason.

I am in SF right now. A bit before 5 this morning, I headed down to the Cow Palace just outside the City. I parked my car, walked inside, chatted with a couple of guys for about 10 minutes, and walked out of there with a wristband, ticket and stack of paperwork.

And it's beginning to sink in - I'm actually going to be going back tomorrow, probably a bit earlier, to try out for American Idol.

    Commence freaking out.

  • Art and I had a little excursion a couple weeks ago. We drove through Napa and Sonoma, made it to Bodega Bay and came back again. Fun times.

I guess I should show a couple of pics, since I've been working on them in Photoshop and uploaded them to my Flickr and all.

    Bodega Bay:

A gorgeous field of flowers in the Napa area:

Black and white shot of the Flamingo Inn in Santa Rosa:

    Lake Berryessa:
(note. The water was green. I managed to salvage some of that in photochop..)

One of the wineries we passed by:

There's more on my Flickr. Almost all of the pics are from that trip, because I got to use Art's spiffy camera to take them. Photo quality in the camera I had (and can't find) just isn't comparable. 8 megapixels beats the crud out of 4.3.

  • Oh. My. Gosh.

I have never seen anyone do anything that musical with the washing machine. Clicky and enjoy.

Don't worry, it's safe for the entire family.

P.S. Pira, we will definitely be watching Wheel on March 18. Hopefully you've gotten some good use out of whatever you may have obtained that you aren't allowed to speak of. Haha.

  • Ahah. Ahahah. Ahahahahahahahahahaaaaah.

Art was playing Halo 3 tonight with Tim, Tim's cousin, and some other CGRer I don't recognize the name of. Anyway, one of Art's teammates commented that he just "got double-teamed by two Ghosts." To which Art responded, "There're some anime freaks who'd love that."

    My stomach hurts. From laughing.
