BEDTIME BABBLING
I just need to babble for a few minutes, because I don't feel quite tired, which only makes sense, since I was exhausted all day today.
First, I need to tell everyone that Tupperware "Fridgesmarts" rock my socks. And I'm not just saying that because I am a Tupper-geek, who sells the stuff. I'm saying it because my spinach stayed crispity fresh for a WEEK. That's right. I said a week.
Other random things in my life that make me happy: Tostitos Restaurant Style Salsa. I was so tired of throwing away all of the leftover chunks.
. . .Also the kind of brownies that you can swirl the cheesecakey stuff into. I just made them. Don't remember what brand they are. Probably Pilsbury. Can you believe that I'm THAT lazy, that I won't get up and check the box. Yeah, me neither.
I STARTED to make the brownies b/c I was going to take them to a friend, who just had her 5th baby. But then I realized I had no oil. Now I'm realizing that this is a really boring story. Didn't take them to her. Made them with olive oil. They turned out just fine. The end.
Back to my friend. She asked if we wanted to stay and play a while (when I took her a casserole and salad-- sans brownies), which is like a dream come true for my kids. Her kids are super sweet. And as an added bonus, they have a trampoline and a huge, nice play-room. Come to think of it, they have a huge, nice house in general. Yeah, it's good to be a doctor. Her husband actually delivered Natty. . .not as weird as it sounds. Anyway, it was a lovely evening. I finally drug my exhausted toddlers out of there at around 9:30.
O.K. time for bed now. I'm about to turn into a pumpkin. |
