TWO FER ONE BLOG DAY
I've been tagged for two quizzes. The first one came from P8indme:
Name 10 things that you love.
1. The peace that passes human understanding.
2. Time with Papa Bear (with and without the kids).
3. Natalie's growing vocabulary.
4. Ju-Ju's laugh. . .and her chubby arms
5. Buddy's precocious questions, particularly the theological ones.
6. Bananna's creativity and her kindness.
7. QUIET --which is why I'm up now when I should be in bed. :)
8. Reading a good book --without falling asleep or being interrupted.
9. Sleeping in.
10. Good conversation.

The next one is from T4tots:
List 5 Weird and Random Facts About Yourself.
1. I complain a lot. If you read my blog (especially during the preg. sick months), this may be stating the obvious. I keep thinking how this is something I left off of the "5 Bad Habits" list on my last quiz. Anyway, I talk about what I'm thinking about, most of the time. And I'm not good at that avoidance thing Papa Bear does. I prefer the "Dwell on what's bugging you and tell everyone around you about it" method. :)
2. Clean bathrooms make me happy. And relative to other housework, I really don't hate cleaning them. I know it's a little twisted, but it seems like one of the few jobs in my house that I can actually see to completion. It's sort of the antithesis of laundry which is never, ever, ever done. My 2 bathrooms are really tiny, so it doesn't take long to get them really clean. And they stay relatively clean for days on end. . .which is a miracle, if you've ever seen the rest of my house.
3. I have the lowest tolerance for noise and confusion around the house of anyone that I've ever known with a bunch of small children. I don't mean on special occassions or when tons of kids are around. I just mean in the day to day. Raised voices or too many people talking at one time make me batty. "Indoor voices, People!" and "Let's please take turns talking," are phrases I say often.
4. Papa Bear and I are best at 'doing nothing' together. I'm working on that whole "help-mate" thing --you know, the idea that we should be better at the work we do because of the support of the other person. Encouraging eachother to have some down time must count for something, right?
5. I was a black belt in Tae Kwondo in highschool. I'm sure some of you have heard me mention it before. It's really not a weird fact; I loved the sport, and maybe I will again some day. But 13 yrs and 5 pregnancies later, I am a little baffled that I was ever in THAT kind of shape.
THE END -- No tags. Anyone feel free. And tell me if you use one of these, so I can come read. :) |
