MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM NANA AND PAPA

As of yesterday, the trampoline is assembled.  Many thanks to Papa Bear.   It's a 15-footer.  I can't wait to not be enormously pregnant and uncomfortable and off-balance, so I can jump.  When Papa Bear brought it home, Ju-Ju kept saying excitedly, "Now we can jump ALL DAY!"

The kids first went out this morning before 9am.  I told them to take 10 minutes, and then we'd do school-work, but instead I left them out there for hours and straightened up.  Needless to say, everyone is sleeping SOUNDLY.  :)

We got a trampoline 6 years ago or so and it was one of the best things ever--despite my eldest's breaking her foot on it. ;( Too many kids at once. But they loved it: they'd jump and talk with their friends, sleep outside on it in the summer, and invent all kinds of games to play on it. I just got rid of it this past year. It was sagging and they had grown so that "bottoming out" was happening. Ouch! Hope you guys love yours like we did!

So much fun.  But like the typical grandmother....I offer:  Schoolwork comes first...then play when it warms up.

Now didn't that sound very practical.  Truth is...I wish I could have jumped with them.  Last time I was at A's, I tried to jump, but I had hurt my back playing with Megan on the floor, trying to do backward somersaults and when you have a muscle hurt, the trampoline is toooooo painful.  Maybe next time.  Please take your camera out and get some play pictures.  (That's a grandmother request too.)

Oh, I am SSSSOOOO envious!  I've been wanting a trampoline for YEARS!  And yes, as fat and old as I am, you wouldn't be able to keep me off of it.

I love trampolines. I hope we can get one next year.

A great big THANK YOU for the Pine Bark recipe. I made it to give to my daughter's preschool teacher and all I can say is...I'm glad there was some left over. I probably will exceed the recommended weight limits, this pregnancy--but, yum.

RYC: yes it is/will be - but sadly it's only once a week!  I do tak eboth boys to the rink for public skating though about once a week as well - it helps!  He is also VERY good at it - which is a big plus because you do NOT want to be  near him if he wants to do something and cannot! OY!

Thanks and thinking good thoughts for you as always

Sometimes I get the feeling that mom and dad love your kids more than they love me. ^.^
