Today was a rest and regroup day. I snoozed on the couch with the little girls in the morning, while they watched a movie. The kids played together ALL day. Now that I sit down and think about it, I need to sing their praises tomorrow. It was really a relaxing day. Mission accomplished. Places that I took five kids without Papa Bear last week: Sunday school and church, the park, Learning Grove, Trick or treating, VIP party at the restaurant (where I had lots of help, when I got there), Chuck E. Cheese party (where I was responsible for an additional 7 children), field trip to the Nature Center. . . So yeah, an "at home" day was in order. As an added bonus, I had them straighten up the den before the big-bad-bedtime push to get everyone clean, with hair washed for church tomorrow. When they went to bed, I was so inspired by the tidyness, that I did the dinner dishes and cleaned BOTH bathrooms. I don't know what came over me. Actually, I think it was the smell in the kids' bathroom (something like a port-a-potty). That's what came over me.

Glad in the midst of all the craziness you could have a time of rest. You have to squeeze every drop of goodness you can out of those moments, because I would imagine they don't come along very often. Hope your Sunday delights you!

Yeah, I have noticed a "port-a-potty" smell at times in our restroom......I think maybe having "aim challenged" little boy around maybe part of the problem. =oD

Both bathrooms?
I'm still looking for the energy to do ONE of mine!
And thank you for the congrats!
We're very happy. I've posted a pic-it's a crappy one, of the ring and such, but it's only the first we've taken since we've become engaged.
Yes, I did pick the ring out, but had no idea when he was going to propose.
And we keep going back and forth with the dates. We're hovering around Oct of either 2007 or 2008, depending on finances.

Love those rest and regroup days! They don't seem to happen often enough, but maybe that's really as often as we need them. It's hard doing all that stuff on your own and I've only got two! Glad you got a day of rest.
