  • Squeezing faith out of people

We took our first periodical test for our CLE (Christian Living Education) class today, and I think that might have made me to understand why so many people dislike Christianity, especially teenagers like me. I didnt have a fun time ansering the test, and heck, I despised it. Out of the 6 periodic test I have taken this week and last week, this is the only one I disliked. The test itself is evidence why people dont take their faith seriously. And dont getme wrong, its not only the test I have problems with, but the whole course itself. It is like we are expected to answer verbatim, and all based on our teacher's lesson only.  It is as if they have forgotten that CLE and its entailing knowledge is spiritual and a personal discovery. I do believe our school's system of teaching sucks. They teach us from books and numerous notes of repetetive messages and defintion who circle around truths that can be explained so simply. Maybe the reason they do that is because they are concerned that their CLE course will be empty and defy normal patterns of curriculum as other subjects. That is the problem itself. Faith became a course. For me, the right thing to do is to remove CLE's definition as a subject or course, and turn it to an opportunity of talking about faith or the Bible, ate least every once in a week. It is so nauseating for it to be a subject. They make us expound into multiple sentences the super simple truths. the bad part is we have to match the given definition.

I just want to talk about faith. That's about it. Please dont squeeze it from us.

Oh, I know where you're coming from. That's why I enjoyed CCD much more than a private Catholic school. We didn't take a lot of tests but talked about our faith and I enjoy that a lot.

RYC: yeah, I'm developing this weird allergy to food and it's scaring the crap out of me! I'm scared I'm never gonna eat food again ahaha
