Charlie is holding his head up this morning. It trembles when he does. When I was holding him in the recliner I could feel nerve pulses throughout his body. I hope that means the nerves are trying to refire!

He lapped canned food out of a little lid this morning! He couldn't see it, depends on his nose and my tipping and holding the lid. He can't find water though because he can't smell it. Maybe I should offer him tea with sugar. Just kidding.

We just brought him in from the litter box where he did wet at least. He was pretty much putting weight on his front legs as hub held him in the box. I was so excited, you'd thought I had just potty trained a little kid.

His eyes reacted to the flash on the camera here, but he just doesn't seem to be able to see. If he can get back to standing and walking and eating and drinking I don't care if he is blind.

I think when I picked him up this morning I heard him purr. I think.

I thank everyone for their support and kitty prayers. Please continue.

Charlie sounds like a real trooper kinda like his mama :)  My prayers are with you and your Charlie cat. Our pets become our babies in later life or should I say senior years :)  They give us so much love and expect so little.

I'm pulling for you Chairlie!  At least he is home. They always feel better when they are home.

Prayers for Charlie and for you and Wil.    Maybe he has a few more years left in him.   Cats do have at least nine lives, ya' know?    I know he's like to see your face, tho'....
