It is 28 icy degrees in sunny Texas right now. Well OK at 7 a.m. it was. A look out the window it appears to be melting. Praise be!

We have to deliver meals quickly today to take friend to the airport. Quick on ice doesn't work.

Friend has driven me nuts this morning with her worries. Hub says she is making a mountain out of a molehill. It is too early to decide we won't make it to the airport, and too early to determine her flight will be late. When she gets to Chicago she will be a bigger wreck I'm sure.

Personally I feel she will get out on time and arrive in England on time. Might that be wishful thinking?
