Our pastor brings on a good sermon just about every Sunday. Today he zero'd in on "Why do you come to church?" (used Exodus 20:1-17; John 2:13-22)

He types a bulletin insert with blanks for us to fill in as he goes along. Some historical and biblical reasons categories:

1. The old drug to church problem.. he reminds us how many children are 'drug'. Sometimes it 'catches' as in his case.

2. The I wouldn't know what else to do with my time. That's one I never heard of.

3. I have another agenda. He reminds us the first demon Jesus cast out was to a man in church.

4. It's a tradition.  That has a ring of truth.

5. It's a rut that I'm in.

6. Definitely the babes!  Now this one I never heard of and wonder if I grew up in the wrong era.

I definetly agree with him when he said "at least one day of the week should belong to God!"
