The day is new and I should be feeling such. Still dragging, may have something to do with being tossed out of bed with a heaving cat. Add to that sharp pain in the left ear that hit about 3 times during the night. Now what?
Yesterday afternoon I set the sprinklers a couple places in the back yard. Elizabeth hollers over it was to rain, I tell her it isn't the first time I've heard that mis-forcast. Glad I didn't bet her, an hour later down it comes!
I've a dilemna this morning. Call and cancel dentist consult? Go and hope I make it back in time to see son for the last time this visit? Hub seems to think we will make it back in time. My feeling is re-schedule with dentist.
After church yesterday I came in and laid down, skipping lunch hour. No idea why I feel wiped out. As I got up later the phone rang. Our old friend now living in England. Hub fielded the call and she kept him on the line for an hour. He says no real new information other than she has to go into the city for a CT scan of her lungs. She got a lung infection 3 yrs. ago when she arrived there and has fought them ever since. I say it is the years of smoking taking its toll.
At any rate he deserves a medal for taking calls from her and sparing me.
Daughter popped in with her brand new HP to await pickup for a check of the hard drive. Appears it is kaput and of course Best Buy return policy is, I think she said 14 days. She told me of the phone conversation with the HP tech support and I said video card must be on page one of their little complaint book. I remember those games with Gateway and I don't envy them.
During Survivor last night the phone rang. It was Pastor Jeanne. My friend had died. Tanja was handicapped at birth and her parents were told she would not live to adulthood. She did, but finally her fight is over. Funny how she weathered these storms before but not this time. So a graveside service will probably be this week as well. Never been to one at the Ft. Sam cemetary and wonder how one finds their way through the white headstones. Usually pavillon's are where funeral services are.
