Touching base to show off the fine picture I got of Pookie.  He is not sure about the new camera. Shiny silver. Then again the bright yellow name tag cord may be the culprit. Yesterday he ran to the back of his cage so scared.

He is holding a pumpkin seed in his foot. All the rings on that perch will end up inside his cage when he starts his daily build his nest.

Oh the camera is a Sony Cybershot and while I don't like the wrist strap idea and would prefer they remember old folks don't always handle smaller better, I am going to enjoy this camera.

Son spent yesterday helping me buy it. Today is his last conference day and he flies out tomorrow morning and I suppose it will be another long time before we see him.   Do kids have to move so far away?

Time to dress for Meals On Wheels. May drag the camera along to see how it works as traffic flies by. The Mavica did a fairly good job of it.

Im sure you will enjoy your Cybershot, I was tossing up between one of those and a Pentax Optio and the latter won because it is small enough to put in my pocket. I need to watch camera shake though, so I think you made a wise choice. Pleased you've had time with your son. Take care

Love the picture of Pookie! I think you'll have a lot of fun with your new camera. You have a very sweet son to have him help you pick it out. I trust you enjoyed his visit!

Have a wonderful evening, and have fun with Pookie!

He looks so sweet!   (The page won't load for me either now, so something must be wrong with it...oh well...thanks for trying!)

That's a great pic of Pookie!  I was just asking my family the other day if they remembered who the original Pookie was (they had forgotten it was Garf's teddy, lol!)  I have a new cam I am dragging around too.  RYC: at least your hubby sounds like a pretty good pal most of the time (that's all I had for many years) and there's your MoW (and church?) people. Happy snappin'!
