| | I just got off the phone after calling 3 of my Meals On Wheels clients. I never heard such excitement from anyone hearing my voice before. One lady has been asking how I was but my husband wasn't delivering (he's been driving) and the other folks didn't know. One from yesterday said she saw me in church Sunday. Not hardly.
I assured them I would call again sometime. If I think I am isolated how must they feel?
Tomorrow I will try to reach Gert. She didn't answer this evening.
Today has been one of ups and downs. Figured out how to get the towels out of the washer and into the dryer. A wooden coat hanger worked just fine. Used it to hook the towels in the dryer and bring them to the opening so I could grab them from there.
Then I went out back and watered my potted plants, filled the bird feeders, and the bird baths.
Wasn't long after I was back in that I began to feel some vertigo, then nausea. Guess the new Neurontin was beginning to kick in. I felt lousy for over 2 hours but now my head has cleared. Yesterday I started that stuff and man talk about making someone sleepy! Hasn't today, wonder what tomorrow's dosages will do.
The military still has not sent my letter for the diabetic clinic. Good thing I am not insulin dependent. Of course stupid here forgot ALL of my 2 meds I take in the morning. Also forgot to go back on the Celebrex now.
So first lesson I am learning, a good day one day doesn't mean the next one will be. |
