http://www.strevelsgraphics.f2s.com/art/1.html  for your early morning grin.

Up at 4 a.m. itching, in shower, dried off and put some of the steroid cream on. Didn't turn it bright red this time. Took a benedryl. If the itch continues Monday I will call the derm doc's office even though this is fading. The itch is driving me nuts and this morning's sugar was 174 on an empty stomach. So obviously the stress of it and my eyes are beginning to take their toll. Yes I have an appt. for eyes too. Now for the first time in ages I have indigestion as well. All this is why the link is funny to me.

Watered my flowers, grabbed my camera an inserted new batteries and took a picture of my african violet with its beautiful new blooms.

Fed it today as I see a couple leaves are not quite so green. I hope I didn't overwater it though.

Never had one of these plants before and I set it in the bay window which is on the North side of the house.

I trotted outside because I knew the night blooming Cereus was going to open more blossoms. Come day break I will fertilize it too. Decided to add a bit to the picture since I am learning more.

I've a couple photo's of friends I want to 'play' with in psp. With this eye strain I just haven't gotten to it.

I will try to get around to all my subs this weekend. Not that any are waiting with baited breath for my comments.

Hope everyone has a productive or restful weekend. Whichever you wish.

Well, by golly, I am that glad when I see your comment on my site!! I miss you when you don't comment. I am gonna try the Febreze today. I had to put a box under my monitor and keyboard for it is high. I like it tho, so far~;)

Gosh, I hope you have a better day today and tomorrow. It would drive me crazier to have an itch like . My cats would be hiding under the beds for I would be impossible to live with!

Poor you, itching is terrible, have you tried menthol cream? It is used for children when they have chicken pox or measles, its's cooling.  And your eyes to go with it, you aren't having the best of times are you. I think you are awfully clever with your animations and designs, maybe you shouldn't be so demanding of yourself. Have a good week end . RITA

Ugh! I hate itching. You poor thing... why do these skin things take forever to heal.
I am going to the dermatologist in two weeks... I have some tiny thing on my ear. It wont go away. It does not itch but it hurts when I sleep on my right side.
ANYWAY... I am staying inside today. It is too hot out and I am sick of summer and sweating.
I hope you stay cool and calm and get the sugar down easily
(((hugs)))

Hi Bonnie, I have a lot of African Violets. They love north windows. I soak them and then make sure they're not standing in water. They seem to do well that way. About your eyes - when my sugar is up (Tim's too) we always find it affects our vision. (Can't seem to focus properly.) When sugar goes back to normal it's improves.

We are quite a pair, you all itchy and me walking around holding a pillow to my belly so when I cough it doesn't hurt as much.    I must agree with the falling apart thing.    Little by little, we are going to pieces.

I like the flower images.   But the little winky doll sort of creeps me out.   She's strange looking.

LOL

I've been meaning to ask you (and keep forgetting)...

Where/what are you using for the PSP tutorial?  I'm very interested...

That is a really productive plant!  I have one that is fairly new.  It has only reflowered once - with ONE flower.  Maybe I need fertilizer.

My grandmother was a wonderful African violet grower. When she died, I inherited her plants. They continued to do well, but when we moved from Illinois to Texas, I gave them all away since we were going to be sightseeing on our way there. We put our furniture in storage because my hubby was in the Army back then (Vietnam time) and would be coming back to Illinois after three months in El Paso. I don't have the right window for the plants here. Yours looks very nice.

How about my evening grin instead of morning grin--cute!  I hope that your itching stops and you feel better soon.  Your violets are gorgeous!  I had some in NC, but they all died when we moved to GA.

Where are you learning all these neat web / photo tricks?  The added effects are very interesting.

Sorry you're still itching.  Sure sounds unpleasant - hope it finally clears up some day!
