Little late getting this up. Ground Zero Quilt.

This my friends is a Night Blooming Cactus. You would not beilieve the antics I went through in the last 2 days waiting for it to open. Did you ever sit in the dark and wait for a flower to bloom?

When I went out at 2 a.m. I had a 'nose delight' from the fragrance. By 7 a.m. when I got this picture I couldn't smell it. By 10 a.m. the flower was done, closed kaput.

I have another blossom waiting to open, probably tomorrow they say. I will never be able to sit and wait and I hear it can take 30 to 45 minutes to open. Something to see they say.

Raining here, doubt I sit outside anywhere.
