How do you like the new holiday look? Some day I will learn to get real creative with PSP and look back on my early attempts and smile.
Any idea how hard it is to type with a wrist splint? After meals today I want to go to the Wal Mart Super Center way out on 1604 and look for splints like my friend in FL found. I am avoiding any doctor visit as long as I can.
3:30 a.m. I was awake, nose stuffy. I tried to read past papers and fell asleep in the recliner, only to be wakened with Charlie's meowing. He has taken to being a mouthy cat in his old age. Hub comes in from work and this cat carries on until hub goes to bed. This morning cat didn't hop up with him for long. Ended up in the hallway in that box we tossed for their entertainment.
I've dishes to do from yesterday no less. I hate doing dishes, I'd rather shine up the sinks. So instead I sit playing around here. Have one picture to leave you, and I suppose I should take a gander at my picture files and delete some old ones. Doubt anyone goes way back to read my words of wisdom.

I'm fascinated with decorations at the holiday, especially trees. This ornament was hanging on the tree at the SAAF House where Sunday we delivered bags of goodies for the AIDS patients to munch on. A couple of us thought this was glass, but it wasn't. I've not seen such large ornaments.
This mission project is such a sad one. I'd rather spend time visiting with the people than just a hello, Merry Christmas, God loves you message. We did sit in the dining room and I filled out a couple cards for one woman to give her friend and sister. Not many people came in for some. We carry cards and stamps for their use.
So many things I would like to do, so many worthy charities I'd like to support. I keep telling daughter don't spend money on gifts for us, use it for someone in need. Though I admit I will no longer give to a lot of charities because I end up on a mail list and year long pleas. If they can afford to do that they don't need my money, and I don't need their calendars and mailing labels. (Hear that Feed the Children?)
Must go and get ready for Meals On Wheels now. |
