OK now xangaI went to comment at Maggie's, they said it was 'locked' so I had to sign in. hmmmm I did find out how to stop comments from landing in my email box. A simple click on the link at the bottom of the email it seems. Now to figure out why I had to log in to my account just to do this entry. After all I had to log in to read Maggie's just before. How fast do you recoken you could drive down this street and make this curve? Further down the street are signs indicating a curve ahead, off to the right of the curve along that sidewalk see the sign over there too?
Now picture you live in a house on the intersecting street where the curve is. Don't you figure you would know there was a curve there? If you hit the curve with your tire and you accidently hit the gas instead of the brake do you actually think your car would jump the curb and travel up hill somewhat? Could it happen if you reached to answer your cell phone? The young lady told me she hit the gas instead of the brake when she hit the curb. She traveled on down about where I was standing here to take the picture. See all the dirt? I heard a crash, I looked out just as her car bounced on the road after coming off the curb. She traveled a few more feet and kept looking back like she was looking for the homeowner. She told the homeowner her phone rang. It took her brother and her boyfriend a good deal of time to get the donut tire on and you should of heard the car as they turned it around and drove it back to the side street to park it along the curb in front of my friend's house and the one you see in the background. It is a closed cul de sac over there too.
This all happened this morning before 10 a.m. I'm sure the parents will fix the fence as they have said. After all you can't live a couple houses down and not be found. What was extremely funny to me, and I avoided a snicker, was when her brother told her not to worry she was getting a new car. Some cousin was to take this one. Do you suppose the cousin will still want it? After pool and lunch I had to head out for a proper haircut and chin wax. Oh hush, a fun part of being a woman and aging. Before I left I talked to daughter. Her surgery is set for October 25th. The surgeon did another ultrasound and a couple needle biopsies. She said the needle didn't hurt going in but extracting from the node felt like they were pulling the inside of her neck out. Brave woman. So they should know if these are pre-cancerous or cancer or benign by the time she goes in. She said everyone in that office seemed to get along and really enjoy their job. Unlike the cardiologist office she had to visit. Cardio only put a 24 hr. monitor on her and ordered echo and stress testing and she can only hope the results of those will be in by the day of her surgery. I called her Grandmother to let her know directly, and she admitted she won't remember what kind of surgery it is. So I need to snail mail her a note I guess. In large print because she has macular. At least she was in a good mood. OK I want to go to the surgeons web page and do some reading. Isn't the net neat? Note to Michel: Yes it would be nerve involvement on hips. I may just try acupuncture at some point. Little else to be done I suspect. |
