House For Sale Found this on Robbie's group this morning and cracked up. Went back to pool, did real slow and easy, did fairly well. Then out into the hot sticky day!
Came home, rested, ate, fell asleep when the Pres. opened his mouth I woke and changed the channel. Out to the yard to ask Tony to trim the ground cover by the plumbago. He asked me to hold a piece. I should of gotten hubby. Now I hurt like heck! I wasn't bending per se but leaning. acck. To make matter worse the pig's little girl and son came out and tossed the garbage right on the ground! I knew Saturday when he took all the lids off the cans and they weren't putting things in that he was doing this on purpose. For two days it has rained into the cans! When the kid did that I figured out what he is up to. This is going to go on until July 30th at least because Code Compliance gave him until July 31st to get the weeds down. Edit: There was no way we were going to put up with that. I had the phone number for the Officer and left her a voice mail. She called me back and she was in the neighborhood and came right back. He has until tomorrow to get that cleaned up. He said he'd do it when it cooled down. She called me back and filled me in and if he doesn't he will end up with a citation. He's lucky. She said she also let him know no one had called the cars for sale in. She saw it and opened that ticket herself. Do you suppose he will explain to his children how he jumped the gun and blamed the wrong person? Or how being a hot head gets you into trouble? Yeah fat chance! |
