Cloudy, more rain? Wish I knew how to do that kind of animation! Found it in a group, can't use it in another because there is no credit. So figured I'd stick it here. Could use a cup right now so hang on while I put the kettle on.
Came home to find a message on the recorder. Officer from Code Compliance asked me to call her. She wanted to let me know she had been buy and took pictures of how the neighbors tossed all the trash cans facing our house. Nothing she could do as there is no trash in them, but she wanted me to know she is aware they are trying to aggravate me and she knows it so she left the ticket open and will be keeping an eye on them. See you don't even have to hand a shovel to some people, they just keep digging themselves deeper and deeper. I've done pretty good today, only the tailbone is annoying. Even walked and stood in line to get prescription filled and find out why they said the other had expired. Computer glitch. Also walked around the dollar stores trying to find a word search booklet. I don't do crosswords and that and that other numbers thing that people do is all I could find. Where do you get the word search books? We did find a little activity book with 4 word searches in it and another one that told you to make 3 words out of IDKS using all four letters. I got one right off and my husband got the last two. Why has my brain gone soft? Our lawn did not get cut today. It poured rain and thundered and lightning at 3 a.m. Looks like more showers are hanging around out there now. This morning I set up a group at Flickr, probably won't have a lot of takers. Called it Puddle Portraits. Ever take a picture in a puddle? Tried to call Ava, she must be at the hospital with her husband. Hope his surgery goes well. So many people to add to prayer lists so I have to send one up at the time in case I forget. Well OK I know I will forget. A note to yesterday's readers. The bridge I was standing on is real solid, just the two bolts of that railing knocked loose. You can bet I checked the railing before I leaned over. |
