Just a howdy

Got my computer back before noon. It is now 7:44 p.m. and I'm far from done putting things back. I'd like to kick Road Runner techs that tried to tell me McAfee was screwing up my browser. It almost cost me a $2.95 per minute phone call to find out the problem. Instead I said to heck with it, closed the browser and opened it back up and walla, I'm off an running.

Now to find out tomorrow why my email isn't coming in. I checked web mail and it isn't coming in there either so they can't blame Outlook Express!

Of course I had to fight to get my modem reset to stay. At least I hope it stays. One tech reset it, and first it was there and then zoom gone. Next tech drove me crazy, tried to tell me it was my XP.  I was almost in tears when I called Tim.  He had to go handle a difficult customer and forgot to call me back. Boy did he ever apologize later!

Lady tech worked diligently but she thought I had messed up the USB port when I told her I had un-installed the driver. But she hung in, reset the modem and here I am.

I'm going to go eat the Blizzard I asked hub to get me. If my modem software stays put I'll see you all later.
