Lost

Lost

Lost

Lost and alone

Lost without a friend in the world

Lost and scared

Lost in the dark

Lost and hungry

Lost and I don’t know how much more I can take

Lost

Lost

Lost and I’m afraid I might die here

Found

relentlessly

you sought me out

until you discovered my hiding place

                                    reached out

took me in

I like this on a lot.

ryc---that verse ended up different and I left it that way because of what is in that verse I think....it is the "problem verse" sort of...what chops everything up....so it seemed only fitting that it breaks form in the poem as well...know what I mean?

There was a cabin in the woods, a man by the door He stood.  When a rabbit came by and he said,"help me, help me, help me." The Man said, " Come in and I will keep you safe ever more."
