The International House of Pancakes is alive tonight
Three AM and there ain’t nothing better to do in this town
You’re young and charged with hormones
This is the prime of your life
So you
might as well waste it
Seize the night, kick back and take it easy
Seven hours of class, five at work
That leaves only half a day for social networking
Not that you have too many options in a town of 1,000 people
The locals know you, the city stereotypes you
and the
cops have had their eye on you since you turned thirteen
Who knew TPing was such a big deal?
But none of that matters now because
You’re in the Mecca
of high school hangouts
The gangs all here, the coffee pot’s brewing and the night
is young
Small town life may be dull, but as long as you have
Coffee,
pancakes and a thick cloud of smoke overhead, you’re doing pretty good |
