I think that we're seeing so many tragic school shootings because we are witnessing the rise of my broken generation. Our foundations are shattered: we have no fathers, we have no gods, we have no country and we have no identity. We find ourselves standing before a vast onyx void and we are struggling to project ourselves onto this canvass without being absorbed by it. I think recent events have made it clear that the price of failure when the stakes are this high is death.
