  • Well, Christmas is finally upon us and I have been preparing my Christmas Cards.  I don't really "do" Christmas cards, between you and me (secretly) I cannot be arsed, but when I receive cards, I smile sweetly and say "how lovely, thank you. I don't usually do Christmas cards, I'm a Buddhist".

My sister on the other hand, is heavily involved with the Church and receives about 150 cards a year. Sometimes she receives cards from people she doesn’t really know and she anguishes over whether she has sent them cards back. So, I thought that I would give her something to worry about this Christmas.

I asked my work colleagues, John, Kevin and Ruth to help out and write my sister and her husband some cards with sweet messages in it. My sister and her brov-in-law don’t know my work colleagues.

Here are the messages they sent:

John in his card put something like:

“I couldn’t have done it without you. The cast is coming off thankfully love John”

    Kevin wrote

“To Christine and Richard (My sister’s name is Cathy)

“To our eternal friendship and throwing snowballs love Kevin”

And Ruth wrote a separate card to my brov-in-law

“Richard, so looking forward to seeing you on the 12th. Bunty is coming love Ruth”

That should stuff them up, give ‘em something extra to worry about over Christmas

    Love B
