  • BCSS Summer BBQ

    Half way through summer, you’ve porbably done most of the stuff you wanna do, seen most of the people you want to see. What about the friends from Uni? You’ve probably been too busy to meet up with them. The Bath Chinese Student Society presents summer BBQ ! Not only a chance to BBQ in proper Hong Kong style (yes, we dun want BBQ where someone “cooks” the food for you!!), it is also a chance to have a big (and hopefully much more complete) reunion with your friends from the University. Let's burn it up!!

    Date: 9th August 2008 (Saturday)

    Time: 5:30pm till 11pm

    Venue: 元朗燒烤樂園 (偉記) (Meeting up at YUEN LONG West Rail Station Exit J till 6pm)

    Price: $80 (including 1 water and 1 soft drink, and UNLIMITED food!!)

  • On 10/7, a pre-departure briefing will be hosted in the British Council for students in Hong Kong who will probably be going to the University of Bath this September.

    Representives from the university's International Office will be there to provide general information about the UK, Bath and the un iversity, such as living expenses, what to bring and what to expect from uni life, etc. You will also get a copy of the International Student Handbook.

    For those of you who are going to the UK for the first time, it is strongly recommanded that you attend! But we can assure you it will also be a most useful session for students who are already studying overseas.

    Just in case you're wondering, our committee members will be there too! We will say a few few words about our personal expriences, and you will also find out about the details of our upcoming summer events in Hong Kong. We are also available to give advice and answer any of your quieries.

    Please do come and find out more about the life in Bath Uni, and who knows, you might even make friends before you get yourself into the uni! We hope to see you there.

    Welcome to the brand new University of Bath Chinese Student Society blog. We wish very much that you have had a good time in Bath and have survived the turmoil of the summer exams. Here we would like to give a big thank you to our dearest members for your support over the past academic year, and also express our gratitude towards the previous committee members for their guidance and advices.
