The Simple Things
It's the simple things in life that float my boat. The coming of spring, playing with the dogs, a late breakfast on Saturday morning and the arrival of my InStyle magazine. Oh, the joys of life! What more could you ask for in reading material? The latest scoop on your favorite high-profile divas, how to wear that fluffly dress ( you have to be 90 pounds, by the way) and jewelry inspiration are the high-lights for me. It takes me days to scour this book-like magazine! And how are you suppposed to dispose of these fashion icons? Do you really throw away Sandra Bullock? And the "Great Gifts for Christmas 2004" may come in handy in 2007. As my stacks of these journals keep growing, I try to convince my husband that they are work-related and MUST NOT be thrown out with the junk mail and hot dog wrappers. If Ron sat down on the patio with some lemonade and Jen Garner on the cover, I know he would see the value of "Quick tricks for Beautiful Hair" and "The Ultimate $50 Sexy Jean". Women love InStlye and "I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar"!

Hi Susie,
YES!! I too love to get my jewelry inspirations from these magizines. This helps to keep my styles up to date. I have noticed however, just like on the cover of InStyle picture you posted, that the women are not wearing necklaces! What is up with that! It looks like the trend is to only wear very long dangle earrings and no necklace. I am guessing it is because they don't want to take away from the amount of breast they are showing or something. I am not liking this trend and it isn't good for my jewelry sales either! :) Anyway, just wondered what your thoughts are on this and if you have noticed it too?
I really enjoy reading your blog posts and meeting all your wonderful workers there at your stores. I hope to come visit your store in Spring, TX maybe this fall. I plan to visit my brother who just moved there last November. It would be fun to shop in the store and see all the wonderful beads in person. :)
