• Beads of...Joy

  I can't believe how fast the weekend flew by!  Our Grapevine store hosted a huge trunk show this weekend.  Karla, Shanna and Younghee taught free classes.  I sat in a while yesterday to watch the evolution of Swarovski bicone crystals into the elegant puffy heart pendant.  It is really amazing, this piece.  A bit complicated even with written instructions, but Karla and Shanna ran from student to student to give hands-on instruction.  As beads of sweat began to appear on the forehead of Karla,  I  was relieved that it was not me teaching the mystery of the puffy heart.  As the designers help weave the little crystals, smiles from the students began to appear.  It's the completion of this little pendant that gives everyone so much satisfaction.  All of us as beaders know the feeling of, shall I say "COMPLETE JOY!" when we have created something of beauty.  So to the knowlegable and patient instructors from Auntie's Beads, I send out a huge pat on the back and a hug.  And for Karla, a hanky!
