Larston's comment on my last post has inspired me to post a few more musician/jazz jokes I've heard:

A guy walks into a pub in London and hears a familiar blues number being played by the band. He leans over to one of the musicians and asks, "W. C. Handy?" The musician says, "Yup, it's right down the hall and to the left."

A sax player playing at a charity event becomes dissatisfied with his reed during the middle of the performance and finds a moment to change it out. He discards the old reed in a basket he sees sitting near the bandstand. After the band finishes their set, the host of the event draws the winning ticket for the door prize and and announces, "The winner is Vandoren #3!"
