I held my cornsnake, Trevor, a few weeks ago and something felt different.  I looked him dead in the eye and for a moment I felt like he was a part of me or I was a part of him.  He raised up vertically from my arm and arched his neck horizontally to look me back in the eye.  We stared at each other for a few minutes and then we lost our focus.

I did the same again with Trevor on a separate occassion with my friend Ali as a witness.  Then again a week later with my brother and friend from work as witnessess.  They all asked me how I was doing it and I honestly have no idea.  I can't do it with my other snakes.

I wish I could connect with girls like that: get their undivided attention with just so much as a flash of my eyes.
