| | At what age do you think a kid should be able to start dating?it depends upon the definition of dating...and definitely on the maturity level of the kid in question....some kids should never date, while others should be allowed the opportunity, however there are great consequences that surmount from dating and also not dating, keeping your kid from dating will only want them to pursue it further, that kid might even offer up their virginity, just because for the thrill of doing something punishable or prohibited by their parents....I think this ultimately comes down to how much rationale, and how much maturity you have as a parent...it's ultimately your responsibility to guide your poor bastard in the right way, and if you work things right they won't end up knocking someone up or gettin knocked up before they graduate...its not dating thats the problem it poor parental figures and negligence, children are going to do whatever gets thrown at them, no matter what age they are.
