| I remember when I was in six grade my teacher had us memorize this poem by Robert Frost called "A Road Not Taken" I thought to myself why is my teaching making us do such a dumb thing. hahaha little did I know that I started to like the poem and my favorite part of the poem is: "Two roads diverged in a wood and I... I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference" So yesterday while I was working an earthquake hit and I was very scared and i went under the table LOlz... Looking back when I was in grade school we always have fire and earthquake drills. At that time I thought it was very stupid but little did i know that the drill will probably save my life one day. After the building stopped jolting i immediately called my sister to make sure she's okay. But no one picked up and I got very scared so I tried a couple more times until they had to evacuate us out of the building. I took my belongings and tried to reach my sister through cell phone but my cell phone didn't work and i was panicking and thinking OH NO this is pretty bad. I was about to cry when i didn't reach my sister and when i finally saw her online i was very happy ahhaha.. By watching the Sichuan earthquake on television and online made me very scared when the jolting started to happen. In my mind i thought to myself oh no it might be the big one. |

| NO MORE CLUBBING for a WHILE.... The past weekend me and some of my friends went clubbing and some of us got pretty buzzed... I hate that feeling so I am giong to stop for a while.. Maybe the next time I go will be someone's bday !!! |

| Hmmmmmm... its already mid July argh why is time passing by so fast? Its almost 10 years since I graduated from High SChool... one more year to go before I graduate from college.. yay LOLz.. Lately, i have not been very productive LOlz.. only work and been watching a lot of drama heheh... I have been watching a lot of taiwanese and hong kong drama not so much korean drama lately. Oh one more thing I've been going to my uncles house to see my baby nephew OMG he's getting cuter and cuter by the day hahaha... SOmeone please recommend me a good Korean Drama to watch... Yesterday me and my cousin waited in line for four hours to watch "The Dark Knight" i think it is one of the best Batman movie i've seen so far. Heath Ledger did a great job in portraying Joker.. Too bad he passed away because we will never get to see him portray that character again... I recommend everyone to go watch that movie hehehe... I think i've turned into a movie freak because I've been going to the theaters every Thursday hahahahah... I think AMC or Edwards should create a monthly pass for us to watching unlimited movies for a price.. I would so buy that pass every month hahaha...
In five weeks my sister is going to Hong Kong for studying abroad ... At the same time i'm going to be happy and sad... happy that she is going to experience something new and sad that when i wake up i wont' be seeing her across from me... =/ Another happy thing is that I'm going to see her in December ... So since my mom will be going to hong kong with my sis I"m going to have the house all to myself during the day hahaha so i think i'm going to have a bbq on one of those days heheh.. =)
I"ve been skipping the gym argh... =/ My big gut is coming back hahahahaah ....

| Its been a while since I updated.. Nothing much really happened for the past six months just work and school thats about it LOlz.. My life is so boring I wish I have other things to do besides work and school LOLz... But i guess this is life so I should stop complaining about it. So for Memorial weekend me and my friend Wendy went to Seattle and Vancouver. Vancouver is a beautiful city and I might consider living there day. THe only bad thing about this place is that it has 12% tax.. =/ Which sucks other then that the city is beautiful and it is full of Cantonese people as one of my friend said LOlz... He said that the city has so many cantonese people the food is mainly cater to them.. I thought that was pretty funny. We took the earliest flight to Seattle and the earliest train ride to Vancouver. The train ride from Seattle to Vancouver is four hours and I thought it was a pretty awesome experience because on the way to Vancouver you can see a lot of breath taking view.
Today i finally bought my ticket to Hong Kong after a months hesitation on going or not I finally decided to go because I found tickets for $899, the only bad thing is that I have to take the earliest flight out on Christmas Eve and I'm going to miss half of Christmas Day. Hahaha yay for spending Christmas on the plane. One good note though is that my cousin decided to go with me. hehehe so thats a plus right there... =) Actually another good note is that I found out the flight I'm taking to Hong Kong is selling for 1600 on the internet...So got a GOOD deal on my plane ticket hahaha.. So this time when I go to Asia I would want to go to different places besides staying in Hong Kong and GuangZhou. Taiwan the second destination I want to go to besides Hong Kong. So my plan is to use my mom and grandpa's Asia miles to redeem me and my cousin roundtrip ticket to Taiwan.. Hehehehe.. NOw all I gotta do is to book the hotel.
Since gas is getting expensive I have decided to give up my parking space at work and get a train pass so I can take the train. The only downside is that I have to wake up super early and having to wait for the metrolink and subway. Hahaha yes, LA does have a subway system amazingly. I mean its not as good as other cities but its something. Lately I notice that there aren't as much traffic on the freeways. Maybe because of the gas price thats why people started to take public transportation. |
