see relatedMy beloved is a crazy child. After discovering that I had forgotten to pack a lunch or turn plastic into cash for the cafeteria downstairs, he drove out here with a can of soup, a homemade salad (with grated cheese and my favorite dressing), and the leftover cookies from our baking expedition the other evening. He was all warm from the walk and the car trip, and I gave him a big ol' hug when he pranced through the office.
He is good to me.Mama and the brother will be arriving at my apartment within the next hour, and we're sure to have tons of (cramped) fun this weekend. I get off from work at 4:00, and the boy and the bro will be here to pick me up, laughing their asses off, I'm sure.
YAY FOR THE SPURS!

sister,
i've been in the marines reserve for three years, its been a long one due to the war and training for it...
i joined to test my faith...i joined becuase it was a child hood dream of mine that just wouldn't die, the dream of serving my country and all its ideal endeavors...
and tested my faith it has to an enormous and crushing degree
BUT GOD is faithful
HE has by HIS MERCY allow my faith to survive
and thrive...
allowed me to share HIS truth,
despite the mockngs and persecutions of other marines...
He's allowed me at very important times in people's lives,
to be there...
when a marine's injured for life...
when an american service member died...
when their wives cheat on them...
to be there, to pray for their newborn while we were in Iraq...
to live out my walk daily...
as a light
by HIS STRENGTh...
