Turn the Page
see relatedListening to this song makes me want to steal Steve's Mustang and go night-driving in San Antonio. I love Seeger's original, of course, but each version is for a slightly different type of driving. Bob's is for long road trips, and Metallica's is for shorter, more urgent trips.
I came here to write some snippet of "poetry" that popped into my head, something about expression and excitement, but then I read http://www.xanga.com/jerjonji and was thrilled, both with being mentioned and with the wonderful Calvin and Hobbes strip. In essence, I got side-tracked, and actually found things to do at work.
Today is a day for which I give lots of thanks. May everybody feel as blessed as they truly are.

That's exactly how today made me feel: blessed. I am always grateful for your positive spin.
I agree; there's something urgent-sounding about Metallica songs. haha. Even the slower ones. Interesting.

I thank you for saying that I was a goof mom , sometimes I wonder. Maybe all Moms wonder.
I see alot of bands you like that I like also, Cat Stevens , a big fan of his.
I like Metallica's cover of Turn the Page, however my favorite is by Seeger, and I love his song, Down on Main Street.
Tahnks for coming by.
