I don't really feel like blogging today. It's a tired day, a day for reflection, for musing, for lazing, perchance for sleep. I want to make some affirmations, I guess, and then leave you some reading that speaks to me today:
- I had a really wonderful weekend
- I'm terribly in love with my husband
- I am so proud of both of my parents
- I love the springtime, the rain and the sun and the refreshed (if a little reluctant) feeling when I wake
- I need God in my life - that Hope and Higher Power
- I can and will make the best of whatever happens
- I love

I think too many people are afraid to embrace life and drink it in... to feel something deeply to the point that it changes you inside out... to love ardently... to seek hope out actively... to live with passion... to feel the real ups and downs and ins and outs of living... to be happy... really happy even at the risk of and in spite of change or challenge or heartbreak. Keep living the good life, Emily... a life full of love... a love that screams out on your pleasant, challenging, fun, and interesting blog every day and fills lots of peeps with hope and smiles! :) God's blessings on your day!

thank you for stopping by. i've played and sang since i was a little girl. it 's simply a part of who i am. i've had the pleasure of having musicians in my life over the past few months - they have picqued my interest in their instruments and so i've started my journey through new musical worlds.

drums, in the form of the drum kit, come next and fascinate me....

Our two cats communicating is the basis of a good story. Zola is a talker. She will not stay hidden long as she needs to communicate and cuddle she can't help herself. She is a funny cat though she is shy, and gets really angry when things do not go her way and then she hides, Judi
