"It is done." I turned in my personal statement. Thanks to everyone for your input and continued encouragement. I'm not worried about it anymore and I'm eager to eventually get word one way or another about starting school. I'm finally ready to study again. I can taste it!
I'm loving on some old-school Dylan. It reminds me of good and bad times in my life. There haven't been very many bad, and as I reiterate a lot, I've learned a lot.
A little caffeine and
Artist's Way perspective have been good to me today. There's something in Chapter 5 of that book that talks about people idolizing their friends, expecting too much, in a way, of their relationships with other people. This chapter spoke to me. I know I have a problem with putting a lot of energy into the divinity within people. This sounds like a good thing, and it is, but in me it sometimes results in something that's not agape love but something more covetous and
too personal. It enables me to get moody or jealous easily, and I don't like that. When I reread the chapter again, I hope to be able to explain myself better, but I wanted to at least get some of it out on the page now.
I am thankful for:
- ALL my friends and family, in their many social circles and levels of interaction with me
- getting my personal statement in
- finishing a research project for boss #2
- making an appointment for Kaylee to be spayed on Saturday (it's so relatively cheap and efficient that I even donated a couple of bucks to the cause)
- cappuccino
- forgiveness
- synchronicity
- serendipity
- humor
- love and light!

And you did NOT tell me the good news of your return to school.
What is the program? Details, please. C'mon, now.

You can't use "synchronicity" and "serendipity" so close together in one post. You sound like a Buddhist whose next statement is sure to be something about "is-ness" or "what-ness" or something.
I'll tell you. All I did was make a mix CD for this guy who I'm randomly and casually targeting as a potential boyfriend.
I like you list of thanks it does inspire me to give some of my own. Merci!
