well, one day late HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! Chaucer...a bit tough to get through at times. like reading shakespeare the first time. I didn't get it at all. It took me YEARS, and seeing truly wonderful stage interpretations to finally get the flow and feel of shakespeare.

I loved Chaucer!! We read it in it's original. KICKED MY BUTT!! But it was awesome! Go. Study. Eckhart.

Are you reading Heaney's translation? Somehow I think he's the only one who really "gets it." He brings it back into true poetry, and without the poetry, its just a crusty old saga.

    That said, Happy Anniversary!

And that said, the press proof is in a UPS truck headed toward me. If it is right, its a go...

That's quite a jingle you wrote.  It's no "Big Mac Song" but it does make me thirsty enough to buy your product.  And confused.

All you need to know about Chaucer is that he was once found naked on the road by Sir Heath Ledger.  When you remember that point, all of his works will come into proper focus.  Happy Day 731 of marriage!

chaucer? you of all people don't like chaucer? let the words roll over your mouth and leave your brain behind until you feel them in your skin and in your heart- then think... you can't think first or you lose the beauty! ryc: i know you're right. i just hate the riff-raff that comes with it.

Chaucer is pretty crude. It's kind of funny in a way.

I drink sweet tea that I make myself every day, and also Lipton green tea. It tastes good and is good for you! I think it's staining my teeth, though . . .

    Dear Emily,

Let's see if I can remember......"Whan that Abril with it's showre's soote, the draught of March, hath perced to the roote...."

    Happy Happy anniversary.

MMMM! Tea!!!! This makes me want to drink some! I finally went to one of the little tea shops here in Toledo. I still miss my washington tea shops, but this one was okay. It was not the one that advertised tea leaf readings. It didn't have a large selection but the lovely older woman that owned the shop was very knowledgeable. I am still certainly ignorant when it comes to tea in many ways, but I'm learning!
