hmmm... this is hard! right next to me is... my 100 chinese character workbook which has 126 pages, an unopened copy of speak, so you can speak again about the life of zora neale hurston which is a gift, which is why it is unopened, the story i'm currently working on which is up to page 159, pop mhan's grapic novel/manga Blank in which the boy begins to rescue the girl from a moving truck on page 161 (it's a great scene, but it doesn't have 5 sentences on the page, and a row of asian pop cds... on the bookshelf next to me there's the greatest baby name book ever and the list of names on page 161 begins with Gladwin OE meaning lighthearted friend and ends with Godfrey. The fifth name down is Glendon, Scot. Gael. Place name meaning settlement in the glen. next to that is the cd learning chinese phoenetic system, the lonely planet's tour guide book to Thailand- which talks about where to go for breakfast in bangkok on page 161. and next to that on the shelf is Bratsk Station and other new poems by Yevgeny Yevtushenko. Lets see what is on 161... oh *laughing* it's the title page for the new section entitled Other New Poems! and next to that... Writing the Thriller by T. Macdonald Skillman and the 5th sentence on p161 reads "Did you show him buying a gun?". Lol! :) that's it!
I don't know that I could get behind the idea of love and knowledge converge. It seems to me that love at its highest level becomes so ingrained that it becomes instinctual. I don't know how knowledge converges with that.
THIS was the first time i looked at the Amazon version
This just inspired a book idea---suppose you took the fifth sentence out off page 161 of all the books you had and riffed on it to make a novel???
