    Fun Quiz

They tell me Spring Break is supposed to be relaxing.

I did have a fabulous time with some friends in the Great White North, and I've enjoyed time with my husband and family before and since, but...
a 15-minute presentation and 3-page paper (due in an hour and completed)
2 6-8 page papers (due tomorrow and one is maybe half-done)
one small but fancy event next week (already planned, thank goodness)
one huge annual event that was planned late (despite my best efforts... I hate depending on others for my deadlines)
    ...not so relaxing.

I crave more spring days and time to read books for leisure and ride my bike and enjoy the forbidden ice cream and blended coffee drinks I did NOT imbibe yesterday or yet today   If it's warm and I'm feeling frisky after class tonight, perhaps I'll visit the husband and do the milkshake thang.  I think, though, that I'll be up late with comp theory papers.  One is on skilled versus unskilled writers - the problem of how to define that and how to make unskilled writers better (my ideas are looking good, but the introduction is being a bitch), and the other is on identity in writing (but must "draw carefully" on our class readings, which means more careful research of stuff I've already read.  Thank goodness for highlighters ).

'twiddlepoop' was the word we were trying to think of!

Someone sent me a link to that video yesterday.  Really throws you for a loop.

Why are you so intent on making unskilled writers "better"?  You think unskilled writing is some sort of a disease?  Small minded people like you are why I couldn't tell my family I was an unskilled writer until I was nearly 25!

Just remember when page count is doubtful.... a thesaurus is your best friend. Use those adjectives to their fullest, hehe.

How's the credit collecting going by the way? Any closer to free premium? If I gave you that 1000 eprop mini, would that mean you'd get 1000 credits? Let me know because I really have no use for my credits... I bought the lifetime membership before they made it so it could be earned. Grrrr

do minis actually give you credits??? who knew???? here... have some of mine! :) i'm gonna buy lifetime, but not until my current membership expires... which is soon- come to think of it! :) don't let the classwork keep you from enjoying spring! :)

I have a new Canadian friend and am suddenly very interested in what, if any, the difference is.  I sense there is a difference.

Springtime and leisure are two craves I crave my own self.  I hear you, sister.  (And I can't thank you enough for publishing The Speech.  I got a beautiful email from a local friend yesterday, who is making copies of what I sent her and distributing it to a whole lot of people I don't know.  The word spreads.)

    I miss spring break.
All I get are weekends and breaks I have to schedule in advance.

    Bullseye!
I'm glad you had fun, but totally understand your need for more time to just be. I had the same feeling after this weekend and I had no work to do!

I hope you got/are getting things done and aren't too stressed out about it!
